About The Fangorn Woods
Welcome! A short description of our history

Fangorn Woods is a kin guild on the lotro (lord of the rings) Gilrain server in Europe. It's a relatively new kin since this kin just started recruiting new people. It's relatively new because the kin itself is all ready a rank 10 kinship since it started in 2009. Back then it started as a result of good friends, all adults, who had this desire to create The Fangorn Woods to make it more easy to do things together while most other characters they had stayed within other kinships. When new people joined The Fangorn Woods things got a bit more seriously. To make things more easy The Fangorn Woods decided to get a bit more organized. Alltough the players where themselves experianced with all the aspects of lotro a website was made, a ventrilo server was set up as well as a kin-house (even 2); all with the goal of being less depending on other kins, making it more easy to play togetter and to ensure that our own philosophy was being preserved.

Even tough we are a small kin we've no intentions to grow big as most kins do, having fun is our priority number 1,2,3, etc.
